In late September, we began a long awaited construction project. Renovations to five bathrooms, new entrance doors, new exterior access ramps and a new fire alarm system are all underway.

Despite the significant level of noise and dust during the various demolition activities, we are still providing treatment services to kids and families. Our contractors have been really responsive to program needs and Teacher/Counselors have been really flexible.

Though the project will not be completed until 2010, we look forward to the functional and cosmetic improvements. Take a look at the progress!

Here are the new outside doors before they were installed.

This is an action shot of the front door steps being demolished.

After the debris was cleared, the workers poured an entrance ramp and new staircase for the front entrance.

The updated ramp to the entrance of the Eagles Unit was poured two weeks before Thanksgiving. The kids got to watch!
More updates and pictures ahead--stay tuned!!
