During fiscal year 2003 Wright School served
approximately 70 children from half the counties across North
Carolina.
While each child has a unique history and
set of experiences that defines his or her childhood, we find
that in most cases, the children we serve have adopted problem
behaviors as a method of surviving and as an attempt to take
care of themselves in difficult situations. We focus on increasing
each child and family's capacities to enhance their strengths,
a to develop a supportive community, and to create a more positive
environment for the child and his family.
